Lucy Sokol is an outreach and research intern for EarthShare’s Campaigns department. When Lucy is not visiting her family in Olney, Maryland, she resides in Burlington, Vermont, studying Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont. She is thrilled to share her creativity, resilience, and passion with EarthShare and is eager to gain valuable experience in the nonprofit sector. After working as an intern with the Town of Winooski’s Parks and Recreation department, Lucy found a love for community development and engagement, particularly through agriculture. She dedicates her weekends to working at North Bethesda’s dog daycare, Dogtopia, alongside her internship at EarthShare.

Outside her busy schedule, Lucy loves hiking and skiing in Vermont’s green mountains, kayaking on the Chesapeake Bay, and gardening with her partner.
